FACTFIND - an initial meeting (face-to-face, Skype or telephone). Our adviser will fully assess your current situation and future plans to get a picture of what you want your mortgage to provide. The adviser will explain the mortgage and house buying process simplifying mortgage terminology and answering related questions you may have.
SOURCING - based on the information gathered at the factfind meeting our adviser will source your mortgage based on whole of market advice.
PRESENTATION/APPLICATION - the adviser will present back his findings and recommend the most appropriate mortgage product based on the information given at the factfind. If you are happy to proceed based on the advice, the adviser can apply direct to the lender packaging up the mortgage and dealing directly with the lender on your behalf
POST APPLICATION SERVICE – Our adviser will regularly contact your recommended mortgage lender providing them with all required paper work and supporting documentation. We give regular updates on how the application is progressing and deal with any queries you have. With your permission we can also liaise with you solicitors and estate agents to help progress the sale.
HOW MUCH DOES OUR SERVICE COST?
There is NO FEE for our mortgage advice. It is a completely ‘FEE-FREE’ service. Vista Mortgages earns commission directly from the mortgage lender which will be clearly highlighted in the mortgage quote shown on a Key Facts Illustration Plus (KFI+) or European Standardised Information Sheet (ESIS) document presented when making an application. A fee may be charged by the Lending institution providing the mortgage in the form of a booking fee or arrangement fee, which would be paid directly to them and detailed prior to an application.
When selecting which mortgage company to use we recommend that you check what fees the company charge. Some of our competitors charge a variety of fees including broker fees, arrangement fees or application fees. These fees can often be as high as 1% of your mortgage amount which would be £1,000 on a £100,000 mortgage loan. We do not charge a fee for our advice.
